Qualification: B.Tech/BE : Mechanical

Experience : 10 to 14 Years

Maintenance manager RESPONSIBILITIES

Following are the responsibilities of the employee:

1.        Review and Approval, of

          SOPs & Formats related to Maintenance department

          Product quality review

          User requirement specifications

2.          Review of Major documents like

          Validation master plan

          Qualifications

          Validation protocols and reports

          Quality risk assessments

          Environmental monitoring summary reports

          Training manual

3.        Investigation, recording findings review and approval of  CAPA for the following

          Deviations

          OOS (Raw material, Intermediate, Finished Product)

          OOC

          Non-Conformances                                                                      

4.        Review  of Protocols & Reports of the following

          Validations

          Qualifications

          Environmental monitoring

5.        Responsible for all mail responses to Suppliers 

6.        Review of Change controls related to maintenance and Acceptance of  change controls related to other departments

7.        Conducting Internal audits

8.        Participating in Regulatory Inspections

9.        To Propose and implement CAPA for observations made in internal and external audits

10.      Conducting On-job training to maintenance employees

11.      Responsible for Management review meetings

12.      Monitoring of GMP related activities in Maintenance department

13.      Checking of new equipment drawings in coordination with production department Head

14.      Responsible for inspection of equipments at supplier’s site

15.      Installation and commissioning of new equipments

16.      Verification of Calibration of process equipments

17.      Planning for procurement of equipments and spares

18.      Receiving inspection and testing of spares and consumables critical for production, utility and maintenance

19.      Ensuring timely calibration of related calibration equipments

20.      Plant  shutdown for maintenance in coordination with production department

21.      Looking after utilization of RO reject water and to carry out water management

22.      Inspect quality and specifications of engineering goods & spares accordingly accept or reject

23.      Responsible for smooth and continuous operation of all production equipments like

           a) Reactors b) Centrifuges c) Air compressors d) Pumps e) Dryers, Blenders, millers, sifters f) hot 

            oil units  

      26. Ensuring smooth functioning of important utilities like DM plant, AHU system, Boiler, Chilling  

           plant, VAM,Brine, Nitrogen and other utilities

      27. Verification of preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of over all equipments

      28. Certification of work completed to specifications in bills

      29. Certification of serviceability of equipments

      30. Recommending man power requirement

      31. Recommend leave to personnel under his direct control.

      32. Look after total maintenance of the equipments in plant

      33. To represent internal and external audits of maintenance department
