We're hiring! Anthem is looking for a Scientist / Sr. Scientist for
strain development in yeast molecular biology for biologic/biosimilar products.
REQUIREMENTS
• Extensive experience and knowledge in yeast molecular biology,
especially in Saccharomyces cerevisiae biology.
• Engineering metabolic pathways in Saccharomyces cerevisiae exploiting
S.cerevisiae genetics.
• Employ genome engineering in order to improve productivity, titer, and
yield of products produced by engineered S.cerevisiae or P.pastoris strains.
• Perform high-throughput screening assays to screen and select strains
with high productivity.
• Extensive experience in standard molecular biology techniques such as
PCR, plasmid miniprep, DNA assembly, bacterial and yeast transformation,
genotyping by colony PCR, and setup of assays is mandatory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors/Masters with 2 – 4 years of industrial experience in
Saccharomyces cerevisiae biology and genetics.
