Job Description for IT Application Engineer

·         Application administrator for all Equipments & Instruments connected Applications in Pharma R&D Labs, QA and QC

·         User and Role Management in all Pharma Laboratory Applications

·         Preparation of SOP related to Administration, Data backup, User & Role Management, etc., as required for the role

·         Data backup, restore, archive as per Application schedule

·         Periodic verification of backup data

·         Installation & Qualification of Instruments, work with Vendor & IT team as required

·         Review audit trail for all Applications

·         Application trouble shooting and liaising with the Application Vendor as required

·         Setup system and user policies define SOPs as required, review and approve related SOPs

·         Monthly data backup path creation, i.e., Monthly folder creation, where needed

·         Manage Instruments Administrator password

·         Work with IT team to troubleshoot network path/ access issues that affects data retrieval/ archival or any other operations of the Application

·         Involve in the Tape Management Procedures and Tape backup procedures.

·         Involve in the CSV procedures.

Required Candidate profile

- Candidate should be Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Science/ Engineering or its equivalent Qualification- B.Sc/M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech-IT with 3-10 year' of working experience in CSV (Computer System Validation) is preferred.
- Experience in administering Empower software installation and configuration would be an added advantage.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
